I keep getting this code lately. I have been driving the car for about 4 months since my cam swap and now this code keeps coming up. It will stay away for a few weeks sometimes and sometimes it will come up every day. What's the first thing I should look for and is there any sensor that could be going bad causing me to get this code?

 

P0506 sets when the idle speed is more than 88rpm below the programmed idle speed. Possibly the idle air control (IAC) motor is not working correctly, or the IAC passages are dirty.
