trivial question.. re plug wires & clips

this is pretty trivial but has already cost me a set of plug wires.
on the fbody accessories. on the pass side. what keeps the wires from chaffing on the belt? i think there is supposed to be a clip there but regardless .. I have upgraded to 8mm wires so clip i dont think will hold em. Is there another gm clip? or aftermarket? or trick?

There is a clip that holds the 4 wires on the corner of the accessory bracket and you can squeeze in the 8mm wires in it.

It's very hard to keep them in that clip. I got creative with zip ties. You will need to remove the belt to get back there without interference. It's a PITA.
