Get your stock heads porter by Lloyd, I think they will flow better than the AFRs out of the box but the AFRs have more potential for porting.

Most heads in the 180cc range are good for most applications. 200cc heads from AI seem to be top dog right now though.

I'd personally recommend AI, but there is a new sponsor on here who could probably make you a great deal on a set of ported stockers with a cam. See Port Masters - they have a few threads on here and elsewhere. Might be worth a try.

Okay few things here, first what size tb? Do you have a manual or auto? If its an auto you want a nice small diameter stall(9.5", not 12") (2400-3600). Also what size cam? specs....? If you want some idea of power with stock Trick Flows check my sig.
Although when I get back to the shop and get it back on the dyno after a few upgrades, I'll post new numbers. However as you can see the power is not that high considering the mods. There are ppl on here with just really good top end parts making the same or MORE power. SO I think you're hp goal is doable, but the TUNE is huge on that with your budget in mind. Like ppl said above Lloyd Elliot does some good porting for stock heads as well as Advanced Induction too, I sold a pair of ported stockers from Lloyd that flow better than my stock TFS.
