transmission compatability?

I have a 95 formula and the tranny has been heading south pretty quick. I posted a thread looking for a new (for me at least) and I had one response that I am interested in. Its been rebuilt 2k miles ago with kevlar clutches and bands.....but its from a 94. Ive been told that the 94's and 93's can be interchanged but the 95's are on their own and arent interchangable, is this true and is there any way to get around that?

thanks in advance
chris

There's a thread I posted about PWM a couple weeks ago.

In the LT1 section do a search for PWM or Pulse Width Modulation. You'll find a post that Brent made about the same issue that you're having. There's lots of good information there!

Not sure why there is any uncertainty about where the post goes. Its about a 4L60E, and the interchangeability of the various ones installed in LT1's. It belongs in LT1 Tech.

Moving.......
