Just had mine done like last week or so. I've been sick so have not drove the car that much. Went for a ride this morning and it sticks the gears real hard. Real nice cherp out of 2nd and 3rd pins you to the seat. I had the trans rebuilt because I lost 1st messing around doing burnouts and some hard luanches. Burning up the old tires.
I went with just a little higher torgue converter 2500 and a cooler and I have no problem with it street driving. Right now I'm ordering a new cam and lifters and having the computer reprogramed and a few other odds and ends. Getting ready for the SLP race day in orlando. Nothing to crazy because I still use it as my daily driver.
I had Redline h/p transmissions on Powerline do it so far so good. If you want more info send me a PM and I'll get back to you.

Are you the same guy that had your car stolen the other day?

If it dont shift hard to where it can be felt then I would say it wasn't done right. I've have used shift kits in several cars and they all shifted real hard. All I know is that I never had one that didn't cherp 2nd hard with the shift kit installed . Well maybe when I blown a tranie.

Which shift are you trying firm up and at what throttle opening? The Trans-Go Performance Shift kit can be improved upon, especially when using a 9.5-10" torque converter. If done the right way, you can keep the nice part throttle shifts, and still get firm WOT shifts. Let me know if I can be of help?

i would like to chirp when shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd......but my tranny builder said that it is nearly impossible to chirp the tires because i have a 2.73 gears....and he said that he already pushed the transgo shiftkit to the limit....i'm all confused here......

the shift from 1st to 2nd is always hard, but the others arent really in daily driving.... but i can still break the tires loose goin from 2nd to 3rd on the strip... i have basically a stock 94Z so i think this is mostly due to my tires being bald, but i can still do it regardless..... so i think that besides the tranny shop screwin me over and making me get a whole new rebuild, the transgo was a good deal....

I have 2.73's in mine and it cherp's 2nd and on a good run heavy on the pedel it left lines in the street from 3rd with my freind in the car. This was an 1/2 hour ago. My rear tires are like slicks because they are so bald. Man if they can't get it to do that I would take it some where else. They are full of $hit or just don't know what they are doing. To my tires!!

If you get 3rd gear rubber with 2.73's, this transmission has to be shifting extremely hard (NOT GOOD). What you want at WOT is a quick firm shift, not a violent shift, which when done right (the quality of the shift) you might get rubber (during the shift) because of horsepower and not how hard you can make the transmission shift.

well, it shifted pretty quickly at WOT...i ran 80 MPH and floor it, i think my tranny went to 2nd from OD, and just blast like crazy......is this normal for a tranny to downshift 2 gears at once

Depending on which governor you have, what rear end gear ratio you have, and the placement of the 4-3 downshift holes located in the TV plunger bushing in the valve body, etc., and at what rpm you attempted to do the downshift. All of this has a lot to do with the transmission downshifting 2 gears at one time.
