i usually have nice firm shifts all the time (a4 w/shiftkit). as of yesterday when you first start it up it will shift firm but after the car warms up, its shifting really smooth (like a caddy). I had a vacuum line come off the TB and it threw a maf code 33 i think. i deleted the code, then it did the same thing (normal shifting for a couple minutes then soft). I've reset my computer, reprogrammed my pcm just to make sure and still the same. the other thing i noticed was: usually when im slowing down (like to a stoplight), the rpms will gradually lower like they should. now, when im slowing down, its like i just put the car in neutral (rpms drop down to idle instead of gradually lowering). I'm stumped trying to figure this out (whether its a mechanical issue, or electrical). the only reason im thinking its not electrical is cause its not throwing any codes anymore whatsoever. i dont hear any vacuum leaks either. so what do you think?
