Tranmission problem

My car pops out of reverse everytime I back up, its an M6, but I dont know what is wrong with it. Is a syncro bad, or am I screwed? If I hold it in gear and let go once I am moving it stays, but if I just throw it in gear and back up, it pops out and grinds.

How much did you have to spend to fix it? Hopefully not too much.

It was fixed under waranty so it did not cost me anything. I believe synchros are pretty cheap so I wouldn't expect it to cost to much. Probably a couple of hundred dollars. But I am not sure.Matt

For that much I don't even care. I don't really need reverse that bad.
