TPS and Fuel pump Q's

With the key turned I get ~.4 volts on the TPS and at WOT I only ~3.8
The TPS is brand new. Should I be getting 4 volts difference (~4.4)?

When I put a fuel pressure gauge on my car, I was getting a very fast pulsating in the line and pressure was down just a little bit. Is the pulsating a sign that the pump is going out?

TIA

It SHOULD hit closer to 5 volts...3.8 sounds a little low to me.

And since you had a fuel pressure gauge, what pressure were you seeing?

Don't remember for sure, but I think it was about 40-42 psi.

Any suggestions why I'm not getting higher TPS voltage?

Voltage is the same with the new and the old TPS.

Did you get the memo about the new cover letters on the TPS? We'll make sure you get another copy of that memo.
