Yeah, Ive actually never had a problem with fedex. It really makes me mad because its almost been a week and it was only suppose to take 3 days. Although shipping wasnt that much, I dont feel I should have to pay for it if they cant keep up with their promises.

I have no complaints with Thunder. On my last order
they forgot to include a minor gasket so I called and
no problem, they just included it with the last item
that was shipped.

I have always had great service and shipping from Thunder Racing, as well as my friends who have F-Bodies. Just wanted to add my TR expirences. I've never had any problems with them.

Thumbs up

I've had nothing but GREAT results with Thunder. I've had issues with Summit years back (late 80's) but still buy stuff from them since things were minor. Any business that does the volume of sales that these companies do will have problems come up once in a while... people make mistakes on both sides of the dollar. From reading this we're only geting one side of the story, but I'm willing to bet the customer filled in the wrong info in this case and can't fess up to his mistake.
Only time I've gotten a raw deal was from Internet Racers Supply. Those people flat out lied to me about two parts they sold me.
Thunder Racing will always be my FIRST source for parts!!!

I haven't read the whole debate, but I'll just say that I've ordered from Thunder Racing a couple of times, and have always had great service, whether it was online or over the phone. And one time I got a bad part (which was the manufacturer's fault, not Thunder's) and they were very helpful in making sure I got my money back from the manufacturer.

I just placed an order the other day for some swaybars and a poly torque arm bushing and I CANCELLED the order on the SAME phone call. Well, they charged my credit card and tried to tell me that they did NOT charge my card and tried to make me feel stupid. I WORK at my credit card company. I know they charged my card. I disputed it and I will NEVER ORDER FROM THUNDERRACING AGAIN. This is not the first time that they screwed me. I will leave the other times out of it. Thunderracing=
If it were one incident, I wouldn't care, but three incidents, and I look for a new parts store online. Oh, and good luck trying to return ANYTHING to them, even if it's their fault!

I've bought a lot of stuff from Thunderracing and even returned a few Items and have had nothing but excellent service from them. They had to back order a few times and gave me ship dates and I always received my order when they promised. Most of the time I order on-line and sometimes on the phone and get the same great service.

They do have the power. They don't try and hide a problem or a customer complaint though. And don't think a sponsor wouldn't do that. I won't say more in the open forum but between a member and a sponsor (no matter how bad they are or what proof there is of misconduct on their part) the sponsor will come first. That's why I like Thunder. They don't throw their weight around and they actually care about the f-body community.

A board sponsoring vendor has the power to have a post they don't like deleted? I certainly hope not. I would like to hear what a board administrator (who does have the power) has to say. I might need to find another board to post on.

Deleted, moved to a hidden forum, or locked, what would be the difference? And I want to make this clear, I don't believe Thunder would ever do anything like that. I've seen them address people directly about complaints plenty of times.

Also, you've been here awhile shoebox. Your one of the few members that stand out in my mind here. Anyone that spends as much time as you do trying to help other people out has to be a good person. But you do know what the deal is.

Re: Thunderracing...

I live in Louisiana so ordering from Thunderracing for me is a big no no, I do not want to pay shipping and tax.
