ok, a couple times when i floored it when goin like 15mph+ my pedal sticks and i have to slam on the brakes to get it to stop, i litterally have to hold the pedal for like 5 seconds to get it to stop accelorating, and clue what could cause this?

 

happend to me a while back. It's the throttle cable getting jammed in the plastic sheath just behind the throttlebody. I fixed my problem by spraying some wd-40 on the cable and working it in.
