I was wanting to know if there is anybody in these forums that sell Throttle Body Bypass Kits to fit a 96 Z28 Camaro w/ a LT1. Thanks for the help.

Dont waste your money on a kit.You can buy what you need at a hardware store for a couple dollars. All you need is a 3/8's hose barb connector and 2 hose clamps.A "kit" will propably cost $20.00.

I don't see why you would need a kit. I just took off one line and reconnected it on the other side. It is a long hose and reached no problem.

there isn't any thing you NEED to buy. i bought some 3/8 rubber caps from autozone for like 1 dollar. but you don't NEED them.

those TB bypass kits on ebay are scams. that's why there's no picture of what they're selling you. if that's what you were thinking about buying.

Maybe some will post a pic for you. There are two coolant hoses going in the throttle body. All you do is disconnect them from the throttle body and join the together. Now it is bypassed.

Remove your air intake and you will see where it goes in and comes out of the throttle body. You don't need anything other than 5 minutes and a set of pliars (maybe a flathead screwdriver too). '96-'97 LT1 cars don't necessitate anything to bypass.

Remove the hose from the drivers side of the TB.

Remove the short piece from the pass. side of the TB. It goes to a metal line that is almost right at the side of the throttle body.

Take the end of the first hose you removed and put it on the metal line. Unless i've forgotten something, thats it. But it has been 5 years.

If you have a 96/97, you discard the short piece from the passenger side. For your 94/25th, you pull both hoses off and connect them together with a 3/8" barbed hose connector.

I just got done doing this about an hour ago. I removed the alternator brackets.....seemed to give me some more room.

I tried this and couldn't get it to work. I went to several hardware stores and none of them could fit the two different sized hoses together. !!!!!! I couldn't figure out what to do.
