thoughts on this cam, need expert advice
intake .573 and exhaust of .594
Lobe center sep = 114.6 cam deg
vavle over lap = 6.7 crank deg
Intake
valve opening = 3.4 before top dead center
lobe center = 111.5 at top dead center
valve closure = 47.2 abdc
duration = 230.6 crank deg
max cam lift .35819 inches
net valve lift = .5731 inches
lobe area = 28.51
Exhaust
valve opening = 59.1 BBDC
lobe center = 117.6 BTDC
lalve closure = 3.4 ATDC
duration = 242.4 CRANK DEG
max cam lift = .37138 INCHES
net valve lift = .5942 INCHES
lobe area = 31.02
I am building a Carb'd LT1 engine for my '88 IROC and was wondering how you think this cam would suit? How much flywheel HP and TRQ with headers and Gm intake with unported heads?

Hmm "do I count" from the "Cam God" lol
Ok, so in words i comprehend, ie more or less extreme than the cc306? I want a streetable cam with a rev band that makes power up top, is this what im looking for? Exhasut duration means "mean" idle correct?
Re: thoughts on this cam, need expert advice
It's basically the same as a CC306 with more lift.
If you lower that Lope Center Sep number the valve over lap number will increase which is what I was talking about. This is also what gives you a mean idle.
I just put together a LS1 today and gave it a warm up test drive and it had a ton more overlap than that ( about 2 times as much ) and with a stock tune drove fine.
