Those who have LT4 starters in , please read.

Ok, I got the old starter out no sweat, but had to drop the crossover to fit the LT4 back up, seams the stubbier motor was the cause. But now there is 1/4 gap around the inspection plate, have you left that open or covered it with??

Also this starter sounds like a old mopar compared to my old dieing original, turns over very fast, is that just a good vs dieing or is the gearing different? Seems like a complete different design from the stock.

its supposed to have more starting power. maybe thats why ?

FWIW, I just left the little space open when I had one on my car.

I have heard of making a cover out of a pop-can though.

Cool

It's definately different from stocker.

Startup is much quieter because of its drive.
