What cam are you running? Maybe you're running them with better springs on a stock cam...

Anyone have some #'s with them?

im thinking of going with the 224/230 with 1.7 rockers and comparable springs...

 

I saw where a guy was running them with the hot cam and got good results from them.

 

since you havent purchased your cam yet, you would be better off to pick a cam that has the amount of lift you want with 1.6 (or better yet 1.5) rockers, rather than to run a 1.7. SBC/LT1's dont have very good geometry when you go to higher rocker ratios.

 

well ive already had two different cams in my possesion and decided to sell them. ive been researching this for quite awhile and didnt want a larger cam with higher lift...

I already have 1.6 rockers wiht my stock cam and want to go with 1.7's with a smaller cam...

also found a set of 1.8 rockers for SBC but Im thinking theyd be a bit much...
