Think I found my battery drain.. what to do now?

My car died again... but this time i was hearing a tapping under the hood. Turns out the tapping goes away when i break the circuit to the headlight door motors. I can unplug the power for the motors next to the manual opening *****... or I can unlug the 4-wire plug on the harness that attached to the stock airbox... or I can pull either headlight fuse from the under-hood fuse box.

Any of the above make the clicking stop. So I think my car is maybe running the headlight motors allllll the time, even with the car off. For now I have the motors unplugged, and i'll plug em in only when I have to drive at night, then unplug again. We'll see if that was the problem for sure within the next month... but any ideas how to fix this?

It may be a pain in the ***, but try tracing the whole circuit for bare wires, bad relays etc. Its prolly somthing simple.

Maybe one of your headlight motors slipped a few teeth on one of the gears.
