I think of it this way, if you drive your car 1 hour a day 7 days a week then you'll only use 356 hours a year, so you could possible get 6-7 years service out of one at that pace.

Pssssst, 365 days/year

I see what you're saying, I think I drive more than an hour a day though, hmmm. Just doesn't seem like much.

What all is involved in installing one of these? Don't you have to plug the hole that the old pump was driven by? How difficult is this to do. I think I will already have the Intake and heads off because I think I blew a head gasket because of the wp. Is everything needed to do this included in the kit. It's just that I don't want anymore setbacks like I have had with other manufactures forgetting something or seending the wrong part , etc.

Oops, too early in the a.m. I meant to say 365 hours. Both of my stock pumps only lasted a couple of years so I figured I don't have anything to lose by going with an electric, you also gain about 10 rwhp in the process as well every little bit helps. mc63, the website is www.csiperformance.com Click products, then to view full catalog and scroll to the bottom and click "to see more features, etc."
