testing compression

Question testing compression

can i take out the injector fuses to stop fuel squriting from out of the injectors? or do i have to take the fuel pump plug loose? can i take the coil wire off to stop the ignition while testing the compression?

Pull the PCM IGN fuse. It will kill fire and fuel.

I just did a compression test 2 weekends ago and only pulled the coil wire to keep the car from starting. Remove all the plugs so it spins easier, less wear and tear on ur starter. Most will prob say to turn it over 4-5 times to get a descent check. I only cranked it over twice, and they were all between 155-167. I am happy with those numbers.
