In the drivers side head where the temp sending unit for the dash gauge is (between the 1 and 3 plugs). Pull the sending unit and replace it with your new gauge sensor.

If you are saying you want a new temp gage to work, and still keep the stock one as well, then there is an identical hole in the pass. head - pull the threaded plug out and put your new sensor in that head. You will have stock reading DS head, and new reading Pass head.

Good call . I was wonder if there is clearance enough to get to it around the exhaust manifold. That plug can also be a real PITA to get out.

Nope ,

Passenger side between the 6 and 8 cly. i had to use a AN fitting to make it work.

that way u keep your factory temp gauge.

We are talking about coolant temp right?

SUNPRO SUCK , just my opinion If your going to go to all that trouble, spent 40-60 on a good one,

I have a autometer prolite w/ the AN fitting that i would sell for $60 shipped.
