My coolant temp sensor has been acting odd. It reads a little low and now and then drops to "0." Is it low on open and full hot on short? If this is the case, it might be an intermittent connection at the sensor itself rather than a faulty sensor. Anybody know?

 

Never mind, I found the answer on Injuneer's site. It is a negative gradient thermistor like i thought. Looks like I have a loose/corroded connection somewhere. Come to think of it, I first noticed the problem in a 2 hour drive in heavy rain last weekend.
