Not necessary to put it in any position to get things out. You will line it up correctly when you install, though. Cam removal and install info can be found on my Tech Page.

Makes it a no brainer when you put it back together.A lot easier. It makes it quicker coming apart too you don't have to check to see what is or needs lining up"IT ALREADY IS"

listen to shoebox. he knows whats up. the little dots on the cam sprocket and crank sprocket line up when things go back in. youve just got to make sure the pistons are right when you adjust your rocker arms.

pm me if you need to know the sequence for adjusting the rockers. good luck. the job is intimidating but youll realize its not so bad when your done. i cant wait till i can get my new heads!!!

oh yeah, dont forget to have your PCM programmed! i was going to do it and shoebox gave me further incouragement to do so. i ended up having Ion at MadZ28.com program mine and boy i tell you!!! it really makes that cam come to life! ive got to recommend him for the job....especially for only 125 bucks!!! and hes very quick at getting it programmed and returned.
