TCC wire hook-up
TCC wire hook-up
im having problems locating where the TCC wire plugs into....im starting to get really frustrated with this car because i get get good answers from anyone about anything when i need a little help so could someone please point me in the right direction on where this wire plugs into?
Re: TCC wire hook-up
What are you trying to do? Wire up a lock-up switch?
The wire is located in the blue PCM connector (D), pin D6, and it's a brown wire. Grounding the wire out will engage the TCC solenoid.

Re: TCC wire hook-up
i just got done rebuilding my LT1 and its my first engine rebuild and theres a connector i found that i traced through the schematics with and found out it was the TCC connector for the solenoid...i just dont know where it plugs in...im already having issues with the dam thing...cant even get the thing to start it just keeps cranking.
Re: TCC wire hook-up
Since there are differences from year to year, it would be to your advantage to add a "Signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. Makes it easier for people to help you.
Which end of the wire are you trying to hook up.... PCM or at the trans?
Look at this wiring diagram, from Shoebox. Depending on the year, yours may be different = 94 is on/off, 95 and up is pulse width modulated.
