tb bypass

tb bypass

have 93 z and have seen about tb bypass and was wanting to know what kind of gains are we talking about, and how do you go about doing it, help please.

Well the gains are small but they are pretty much free.You will gain between 5-8 rwhp.It is easy to do just take the two lines going into and from the TB and use a pipe and clamp them together so the coolant no longer flows through the TB , also be careful not to leak any coolant onto your opti.

It is very simple like was stated above, just cap the lines with some 1/4" vaccuum caps

Have you personaly seen 5-8 Rear?? I didn't realize that TB helped that much.

Not "necessary" to cap the connections on the TB, but it sure looks nicer if you at least cap the one thats visible on the drivers side.
