Taller vavle cover AND no modifications?

Okay, I tried searching with no real clear answers...
I want to find a set of valve covers (for a 95 Z28) that add the most clearance AND require no modification whatsoever. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, no clearancing needed to clear the rockers (not a huge cam) or to clear the alternator (will not be relocating). Thanks.

I doubt you'll find any but the Proforms work and look good. It takes about 10 minutes to notch the alt. Very simple. I run the 141-131.

Someone else mentioned that part # on a different forum as well. How do you notch the alt?

I also read that Cantons were good pieces, but I read that they have sealing problems and clearance issues. Do how do the proforms compare as far as any clearance issue or leaking issues?

I've not had any issues, been through 3 rocker changes and a few adjustments and still use the same gasket. (1.52 Promag,1.6 Promag and
1.7 Scorpion)

I love the look of my Canton valve covers. No leaks.
I had to "massage" them with a hammer where the alternator notch is to fit over my 1.6 comp pro mags. Also had to grind the alt, to make it sit in place.

You cannot fully attach the alt bracket that mounts on the intake, but the alt holds very steady. You also have to pull the alt to remove the passenger side valve cover, PITA! O yeah you may have to bend the trand fluid dipstick out of the way also.

But they look great, have had many complements.

Got mine from E-BAY
