Switching to a turbo 350....computer question...Injuneer??

I am ready to flash the computer with a Flash copy from a M6 car so my car will quit trying to control a 4L60E that is no longer there. Were there any changes that needed to be made to the program, or is it ready to go, just upload?

Not really sure.... my stock PCM is still programmed as an M6, and it doesn't look for anything, except the missing skip shift solenoid (DTC 84). On the other hand, I don't use the PCM for anything other than idle air and the speedo.

Whether the M6 program will work with the VSS will depend on how many teeth there are on the reluctor gear, and whether you have the right VSS. The A4 is programmed for 17-tooth reluctor, the M6 is prgrammed for 40-tooth.

Thanks Fred, I have gotten the Sensor from Dakota Digital and know what I have to do to make that work. I guess it is going to be trial and error from here on out. I know I need the M6 flash to make it work right, but didnt know if I should change anything else.

Yes it is a manual valve body.
