SVO Injectors? Stock Replacement?

I have a 95Z and want to replace the injectors on it. I hear ford SVO's can be used, but from what i've read they seem to run at a lower PSI.
I think my stock injectors are 24# ones, someone correct this if im wrong. Can I just get 24# SVO ones and swap them in without any problems? Or do I need to get a different rated # one to replace my stock 24# ones?

Also, I have a computer and cable for the car, is there any software out there for free that will allow me to program in a new injector size? I use freescan at the moment.

You can just swap them out, they work fine. I ran my car with the stock injector constant using the 24# SVO's for about a year. The car will run a hair rich, but nothing drastic. You can go in and tweak the injector constant for optimal results.

You can use LT1 edit or get someone to program it for you. I had my dyno-tuning done at Thunder Racing. I have since upgraded to 30# SVO's, but I never had a problem running the 24# SVO's with the stock injector constant.

As stated above, the 24 lb SVO's will run, but run rich. The fords run 39 psi fuel pressure, since are cars run 42-43 psi, they will flow more fuel than stockers. I use tunnercat to change the injector constants. Here is a link for the correct #'s.
