Kind of a long story but here it goes:

This all started a while back. I was running quiet low on gas and tried to make it to the store. Well I ended up a bit shy and had some issues. The car would not start back up with a tank of gas and what not. Well turns out it was the Injectors. So I got a pair from an LT1 Impala and it fixed the problem right up. Well I drove around again no problems at all for about two weeks. Then We were driving down the highway and I hear a loud *** pop. Then see sparks from under the car. We lost all power to the car and pulled off to the side. We looked under the car and right around ther Cat. was a bright glow. We gave it a few minutes and the car started up just fine. We got about 2-3 miles down the road and had a loss of power again. This time I pulled off into a store parking lot and the car would not start back up at all. So I get the car towed back onto base. I ask around and was told it was probably the Cat. clogged up. So We cut off the cat and still got nothing. So I check the car for spark and there is no spark. Other than that far I havnt had time to look for anything and really dont have the expierence, tools, location to try anything else. So Im lost as to what the problem is. My question is, I finally have a LITTLE money to get the car fixed and am needing some advice on what it could be or at least where to start. Like Ive said all I know is There is no spark and that it isnt the Cat. Any Ideas?

 

Start by checking fuses under the hood. Especially the IGN one.
