Suspension Advice Wanted

I need new shocks and money is very tight. I saw I could get take offs from slp for $50, but I figured I might as well do springs at the same time. Are the springs from DMS the most affordable? Would it be a good ride if I lowered the car and used stock shocks or should I save up and upgrade the shocks? What is the next cheapest aftermarket shock that would be worth the money?

Dude....the best advice sometimes is "you get what you pay for". If I was you I'd just save up money til you can at least get something decent. There have been too many times in my life that I went for the cheaper one and that cheaper one ended up damaging something else and costing more than if I just bought the more expensive/reliable one.

Just something to think about.

What are you doing with the car? I'm still running 95,000 mile old stock shocks/suspension under a car that's went 12.38 @ 111.9 MPH.
