Since you were asking about ported heads too maybe you should contact www.advancedinduction.com or lloyd elliot if your thinking about heads and cam. Then they might be able to recommend a cam to go with your heads if you get some.

CeeBee, I like that package! As a matter of fact I honestly think I will go with that instead! The pushrods don't come with hotcam kit and neither do the gaskets, well at least the pushrods don't I'm not to sure about the gaskets. I also would rather have the Comp Cams roller rockers instead of GMPP's. That sounds really good to me and their cam is bigger than the LT4 cam. I think you made up my mind for me All I would have to pay for is some Comp R lifters and I might have enough for a computer tune.

How can I get a hold of them and do you recommend someone that I should talk to?

I don't think your listening to anyone on the Comp R lifters. You will need a computer tune for your car to run decent at all. You really don't need comp R lifters. I have Comp OEM replacement lifers in my car because R's weren't available at the time. Its doing just fine. If you only have money for comp R lifters or a tune get the tune. My friend bought some used low mileage OEM lifters to put in his car with the xe224/230.

Computer tune > Comp R lifters

There isn't really a link for the package deal, just go to the group buy section on the site and its there, not sure if the deal is still going on though.

Either way, just give them a call and I am sure that they can hook you up with something

Z95m6, then what do you recommend? Would it be better to just to just keep the stock lifters or should I least should I use some sort of replacement lifters? I just assumed that replacing the lifters would be a must regardless if I get the Comp cam or the LT4 Hotcam and if I was going to get them might as well get something worthwhile.

How bad will the car run without the tune? Will there be driveability issues?

i say to upgrade the lifters to Comp R lifters, but some say that u can use the stockers...but personally i think you should change everything and anything while u are at it...

The car will not reach its full potential without a tune. YOU NEED to get it tuned.

Replacing lifters also depends on what RPM's you plan on spinning the engine to. If you are going to consistently spin it over 6000 rpm, I would change the lifters. Stay below that, and the stock ones should be o.k. Just check the bottom of the lifter when you remove them. If it is perfectly flat and not at an angle from wear on the cam, then you should be fine reusing them if you plan to stay below 6000 rpm

Just my opinion.
