Summer Tune Up? Opinionators inside please

Well, I'm headed out to North Carolina again to go work at the mines for my internship. I have noticed my car running a little doggedly at times and it seems to not have the same pep. Scanned it and I have no issues really, but it just seems wheezey. Here is what is planned. Please add to it but remember I have a few weeks to do this and don't want to do anything outrageous before travelling 13 hours.

MODS ARE IN SIG and I will NOT be spraying this summer...AT ALL

TO DO
- New plugs TR55 (what gap? it won't be sprayed)
- Thunderracing OTVC (still running stockers...and possibly factory)
- oil, filter, blah blah blah
- Clean the K&N
- New 02's (stockers...DEFINETLY factory)
- MSD Coil ( ???? )

DONE
- Non-platinum/fouled N20 plugs in there
- New fuel filter
- Tranny/rear end fluid changed out (every oil change....benefits of a lube shop job)
- No visible vacuum leaks.

Thats all I can think of. Tax return money hit and I want to finally get the OTVC wires since I have a misfire on one cylinder sometimes due to a crappy wire that sometimes actually pops off the spark plug.

Let me know anything else I can do before May 11th rolls around.

Complete new opti about 16 months ago as well.

A new serpentine belt. A professional fuel system cleaning could do the trick to bring your engine back to life. A little costly but well worth it.

Serpentine belt was replaced when I did my headers ~12K miles ago

I can do the professional style for free because we do at my shop...I always regarded it slightly better than a "snake oil cure all" and never used is, but hey, it's free, it's a good idea, and it might actually do something.

What is the stock gap and do most people put anti sieze on their plugs??

Im running 11:1 compression and have them gapped at .035, which has been working fine for me, when I was still stock I had the tr55's gapped at .040 because IMO the .055 stock gap is way too big.
And yup ani-seize is a must.

Reading in your sig I see that you have your PCM tuned for N2O. I'm guessing that means that you're constantly running a few degrees of spark retard at all times. Getting your computer retuned to normal spark advance would probably help to pep things up as well.

My thoughts as well, I would pull the timing through an aftermarket box like the Mallory 685 instead of having it pulled all the time through the PCM.

I appreciate all the input as I am a firm believer in "the little things".

So far as the computer goes, it should be computerS...I have one with 4 degrees of timing pulled sitting on a shelf, and is for track use only really.

Now, my stock computer is just that...stock...and is in my car right now.

UPDATE: Fuel system cleaning, TR55's gapped at .050, and MSD coil are installed. Waiting on the OTVC wires to finish 'er up.

Keep everything coming...even if you deem it stupid...I might have overlooked it and last year, not doing this bit me in the *** as I was 13 hours from my tools and small glitchy problems when I really needed a reliable car.
