such thing as"hi per" fuel filter?

is there a such thing as a highperformance or high flow fuel filter? i have a racetronix pump with hot wire kit and i was just wondering if a stock replacement fuel filter would inhibit ir restrict the flow any info would be greatly appreciated also what type is everyone else using? thanks Brad

Ya they are next to the muffler bearings

but really, stock should be fine I would think. Otherwise them nifty ones that are clear are nice too.

K&N makes one, I was going to put one on my car but I never got around to it. I guess if your looking at replacing it anyway why not go with an aftermarket peice and just see how it does. Then you could report back to us and let us what you thought.

I run an SX Billet fuel filter...... but converting the lines to braided S/S gets expensive .

Stay with the Delco / GM filter. It is reliable and flows well. You never know what particle size aftermarket filters will handle and that can be your worst enemy. Remember the filter is there to keep your injectors from getting contaminated.
