Stuttering / Missing

I just got done installing a cc503 cam last weekend and it idles and revs fine but today i drove it longer than 30 minutes and i noticed that it almost feels like i have a litle mis or stutter under light acceleration. If i get on it it does fine. I didnt know if this was normal with a cam or not. Any ideas? Thanks

That does not sound normal. You have what some guys on here would call a smallish cam. I am running a GM847 which is a rather large cam and it doesn't miss or stutter. Double check all of your wiring. After a cam install, it is not unusual to overlook something simple.

could be a vacuum leak somewhere as well, check everything that could cause a leak, also look for burned wires just in case.

I did notice that my intake is leaking oil on the back side of it. Safe to assume if oil is getting out air is getting in?

But the air entering the typical oil leak at the rear of the intake manifold would only be "getting in" to the crankcase. Its not a vacuum leak an the true sense.
