Strokers with high stall dyno numbers?
Strokers with high stall dyno numbers?
I'm looking at dynoing my car soon.
Was just wondering what kind of numbers you guys with 383s and HIGH STALLS are getting on the dyno and what you were running at the track.
I know what manual tranny guys put out but the high stall eats alot more of that power.

At 500 flywheel HP: T56 - 12.6% loss; TH400 - 19.8%
At 800 flywheel HP: T56 - 12.1%; TH400 - 21.3%
The T56 setup was through Street Twin, 3' chrome moly DS and 3.73 Strange 12-bolt.
The TH400 was through a non-locking convertor that stalls to 5K rpm at 800ft-lb, and a similar DS and the same rear axle. Convertor slip at peak HP was more than 10%.
