Ya can make the same power but it will be a hell of a lot more radical and much less streetable.
Ya would have to turn it higher and the torque wouldn't be as much.

Dart if ya want to convert them(335CFM) AFR if ya don't want to convert 227's ( around 315CFM) 12 week wait and offset train if ya want it.Can be used with stud mount RR's.
210/220 are not a bad choice if max ported( about 280CFM).
Depends on what ya want for HP and what the budget can stand.

Re: to stroke or not to stroke

ok... after hours upon hours of crunching $$ numbers, and weighing all of my options vs. results... i've decided to go with the 383 on LE3 heads and a "emissions" cam. I will NOT run boost or nitrous therefor I do not need the strongest rods/pistons... Rods... H beams are nice but i doubt they are necessary for 450rwhp max (i know i wont make that much... but close ) What about some eagle I beams 6.0". Pistons, don't want to go too cheap here ~500-600 bucks... but what are some good tough pistons for 6.0" rods; -3cc to -5cc dish pistons... crankshaft? eagle cast crank? and what are the best bearings!?

if you guys know of any other parts that are better let me know!

Thanks!

LOL!!

I know what max is, but I didn't know that max ported AFR's would only flow 280 CFM!

My porter says AFR has a "happy flow bench" and on his bench they won't flow their adv numbers. He says he can get right at 300CFM from a set with plenty of hand work after he runs his CNC program on them.
