Strange Problem

I really dont know if this is a problem or not, but it is very weird. My car will idle at 185 all day long if i have my AC on but the minute i turn it off my cemp starts to rise to well over half on the temp gague, 210+. Is this normal? What would cause this?

When your AC is on the fans are automaticaly on high. When you turn the AC off they go back to the regular computer control.

Yes this is normal with stock programming, stock cars ussually go above half way on the temp guage before the fans kick in, with the AC on the fans are also always on no matter what the temp.

With stock programming, the 1st fan (or low speed on later models) comes on at 226degF, and the 2nd fan (or high speed) comes on at 235degF. Your can sounds "normal".
