Re: Strange Idle Surge???

about 2 months after i did my TB bypass i startedhaving the same problems as you. sometimes it took like 20 minutes for the car to start! anywaymy prob was when i did the TB bypass i pinched the MAP sensor wires between the alternator bracket and the coolant return line(i think that is what it was!) adn after a while it ate through it, and started to ground itself out when wires started to show!
just and idea though. and if that is not it, you could check other areas that might have gotten pinched or what not! good luck

Re: Strange Idle Surge???

if your intake boot is torn, won't even ask how that happened, you can get all kinds of strange running problems. get it replaced first then if a problem still happens post the problem. Intake leaks after the maf can do all kind of strange things including a miss like effect, high or low idle, hard starts and on and on. Your problem may be a very simple one and you are not fixing the problem that is in your face.

not trying to be a jerk but if you think you know what the problem why not fix it instead of bumping your thread? bumping your thread dont fix the problem fact is it may just pi** off the moderators

You could always run a poll!

question 1: Should I fix the apparent problem?
question 2: Should I keep bumping my post?
question 3: Should I call Miss Cleo for answers?
question 4: Do Nothing?

hope that helps good luck! \
