Unhappy No Heat!!!

I just had my motor rebuilt. New Cams, injectors, gaskets, plugs, wires, and 160 degree thermostat. (Just to name a few new things) But for some reason I have no heat. It just keeps blowing out cool air. I don't need heat now cause my car is sitting for the winter but I need to defrost the winshield. So if anyone might know what the problem could be just let me know. Thanks alot guys.

Re: No Heat!!!

There nay be air in the system, or the heater core could be clogged. Check to see if the radiator is full. If it is then you'll probably want to drain the coolant and backflush the heater with a garden hose. I had to do this a few weeks ago and it worked like a charm. Even with a 160 stat the heater blows out HOT air.

Did you remember to install the waterpump coupler that mates the water pump gear (on the timing chain cover) to the back of the waterpump?
