Correct me if I'm wrong...but alot of you guys that listed your times have alot more done to your cars than what the thread starter asked about. Some of you guys don't even have a Hot Cam!

Yea i might remove some weight, but i'm not gonna gut it.Thats what i meant by not stripped. Stripped to me is like 3000 lbs. I have no idea what my car weighs now but it has every possible option(leather, t tops, bose, 17" wheels etc) I might take out the seats, do lighter wheels, etc..but i'm not gonna gut the car(lightweight carpet, no bumper supports, rip out stuff on the inside etc). Its all in good fun though. Your car was actually one of the ones that inspired me. 12.80's is sick fast for what you have done. People are really impressed with 12 second bolt on LT1's. Everyone keep up the good work. Maybe i'll see some of ya at Maple Grove

This post has nothing to do with the hotcam. H/C generally means heads/cam.

The only thing I don't have stk. like what the thread starter mentioned are my rockers and my valve springs but everything else is stk. Heads never been off the car, stk. cam. Still 3.42 ratio in the rear end (some of you guys running your et's have a gear). Stk. programming, HPP3 is only for lower fan temps.

The rest of my mods are in the sig. and my car's best et is 13.23@104.88mph. Right now it's consistant 13.30's @ 104and change mph. Still hooking lousy 2.0's on my DR's though. These times were all done on the stk. TA last year, hopefully now that I have a Spohn TA installed I'm hoping to get into the 12's.

My et's are done using everybody's favorite header of choice, through the stk. dual cats and through my Borla, just wanted to add that in.

but what's been added? I don't see a stock LT1 w/ factory airbox, muffler, and factory TC running that kind of time. Especially the 60' ... Which is pretty killer. Wonder what a 13.01 on a 2.04 60' would've been on a 1.69 60'..

mods are

as&m headers, random tech dual cat y-pipe, corsa catback, obdi conversion, pcmforless tunning, vig 3200 stall, 3.73 gears, bfg drag radials

best without the stall was 13.21@104 with a 1.90 60', i was hoping that the stall would drop the et more, with the drop in the 60 i got.

still stock heads, cam, rockers running through a paper filter

Cool Re: Stock H/C/RR times

Well it's been a while since I've raced (Feb. '02) guys and gals but before I tell you my best times, my previous best times with stock manifolds, heads, rockers, etc. was a nice 12.75 @109.xx! Since that time I've added an electric water pump, Hooker long tubes and a (cut-out -->that I haven't used because of tuning issues). My motor started running rich after the waterpump and need to tune it again. But after those mods my best times went down to 12.482@ 110.15 on a 1.73 60'. This makes me wonder what times I'd be running with something other than a stock suspension and a low 1.5 60' range like SAR2K and his (11.94 @ 111.50, 1.53 60'). Steve had the 1.7 rockers, great suspension tuning, and the big converter to boot when he ran that time. I'm hoping to run close to that (at least a 11.99) with some upgraded suspension and rockers along with more tuning on the dyno.....

Eric....

Re: Stock H/C/RR times

Jet Hot LT's are in along with a mufflex 3" ORY pipe. Car feels way stronger but one of the wires got burnt. I should have the car running tomorrow. I also removed the sway bar and have a brand new pair of 15X4" convo pros for the front I wish it wasnt supposed to ran all this week but oh well. I'm hoping for some high 12.4's to mid 12.5's in the heat. Come November that should equate to around 12.2's. I'm also thinking about scheduling a dyno session with Bryan Herter of PCMFORLESS but i wanna see how it runs first. 11's here i come. My first goal is to break the bolt on time for a 6 spd car which i think greenbeanz28 has 12.34@109.7. After that I'm gunning for SAR2k's 11.94.

Bout time you post Eric!! I thought you went some thirties. Still awesome times though. I think you still have more in it if you could get a better 60'.
