My car is ticking

I noticed today that my car ticks on the left side of the engine, right at the valve cover. Could it be a rocker? I have stock ones. What should I do?

Could it be the lifters? I doubt it would be the stock rockers but you never know. I had the same thing happen before my rebuild and it was lifters ticking on driver side. Good luck
