Stock bore lt1 head gasket.

Ok well I had a felpro 1074 on my old engine and had good luck with it. I would like somthing similar on this engine. It is a stock bore engine just honed to fit the pistons. Do any of you have part numbers and sugestions?

Same gasket should work all the way up to a 4.125 bore....If you only honed it to fit some new slugs you should be fine using the same albeit new gaskets

Yea but will the larger bore size of the gasket affect anything? Because arent they meant for .030 over?

Most gaskets come in 4.125" bore size = even stock. Don't worry about it.

^Exactly, they all usually come about the same bore. You can get them smaller bores but it won't hurt anything being larger. All it does is lower your static comp. ratio ever so slightly (not enough to notice)

I had the same question when I was buying parts for my rebuild, 4.125 is "stock" gasket size and that is what you need to buy.

I am running 1074's, from what I know all head gaskets for the lt1 are 4.125. It will be fine.
