Still haveing problems with window.....
I have replaced the motor several times, I was starting to think it was the reagulator so once I removed the last motor I grease the track and moved the window up and down manully and it slide very nicely with no hang ups. That motor last 2 days and I rolled the window down and back up and down and back up (and it didn't make all the way the second time). When it went out today I smelled somethin bad (like elcetronics burning).... so I think is is something else, what else could be the problem in the electrical system??? I hate these windows...

So today the window worked fine.... but I noticed my passinger window is slow, could it be that when I try to roll both windows down at the same time it created tomuch a load on the system? Any chance my express down modulal is broken?
It sounds to me like you have ashort somewhere.... I couldn't tell you anything more though. I think your on to somthing witht eh express down thing being squirelly.....
When i bought my car from my firend the drivers side window was stuck an inch open... I had to shove towels in there to keep rain from coming in and it still got wet inside. I replaced the motor (bitch *** job) then a week later it went again but when I opened up the door I found that the factory connector didn't fit the new motor to tight and it had wiggled loose. I squished it on there more and then taped it on the inside
lets see that bastard wiggle loose now.
I agree man... WHy is it to much to ask for to have windows that work right. I never see toyota windows going out like ours do. Damn american stuff. Powerful yet weak.

It's just like any human. You can GO slowly or just CRAP out all at once. My motor was bogging down for a good while and I have used windows that need a little tug and they get of and running lol
These things just suck. get anew one and seal it off and use plenty of grease. It should last however long you own it.

This may sound wierd to you, but the fix for your slow passenger side window may be the switch for it mounted on the drivers side. Try your passenger side window switch (on the passenger door) and see if it is any faster. I had to replace my switch on the driver side....works great now.
