State Vehicle Inspections - help
State Vehicle Inspections - help
My car has intermittent turn signal issues (bad grounds, blown fuses, etc), and as a result the inspection sticker expired. Saturday April 12 I got a citation for expired sticker, and was given until April 24 (today) to get it fixed, inspected, and to show proof to the municipal court.
I took it to a mechanic last week and he straight up wouldnt touch my car's electrical problem.
I spent from 10am this morning until 6:30pm this afternoon fixing my car until I finally got all blinkers and hazzards working in unison, only to find out that everyone in Austin stopped doing inspections at 6.
My question: how risky would it be to get up at 7am tomorrow, get the inspection, and head to the court? Will they be lenient by the one day given what happened?
BTW I live in Austin Texas, and I have until 10pm tonight to either show proof or pay the $91 fee. Thanks for any help.
