Anyone with Eibach springs, HELP. Having probs with my shocks!

Took the car to the shop today to deal with a grinding/vibrating sound on the front left when my front suspension travels. If I'm on a smooth road with dips, everytime the susp. travels up, I get this noise. I did have the front left strut replaced about a year ago because it blew the seals. The shop says that because the car is lowered with the springs, the geometry is off, which is correct. But he said it appears that my strut is leaking at the seals. This is because maybe they don't allow enough travel that the springs require. Does anyone else have this problem? With the springs, my front end was lowered about 1 3/4", not the advertized 1 - 1 1/2". What struts do others use? This sound is annoying, the tech said everything looks good suspension wise, just out of geometry. I have Gabriel struts, which might not be what I need on. How are KYB's? Do they offer valving for lowered cars? If not, what other brands do offer this lowered car valving? Thanks alot.

Sorry, I aways call em struts. Was thinking about my Impala at the time. The Koni's are out of my price range I think, as well as MY WIFE'S if she ever found out. How much for the revalved Bilsteins, and where to get em. Thanks alot.

when i bought my bilsteins last year i paid 300$ for them, and 75$ for each front shock for the revalve. total of 450$. the rears dont need revalving. the man to call is Sam Strano (or something like that) at stranoparts.com (i think thats the site). tell him what kind of springs you have and hell tell you what to do. 30% stiffer, 60% stiffer, etc. probably even just the regular bilstein hds for 300$ would be an improvement. but might as well spend the extra 150$ and be 100% satisfied hth

Hey, thanks for the info. Wow, alot of money! I've heard others on this board with the Eibach pro kit and they also ran KYB shocks and never heard anyone talk about having to get different shocks. How come? I feel very stupid buying new shocks w/ spring install a year ago and now having to buy some more that are alot more expensive. Guess I should have paid attention more, but I still don't remember anyone else having to do this.
