Most likely a problem with the starter. Could be ignition switch or wiring, but better chance it's the starter.

My starter used to do that (stay on for about 5 or 10 seconds after i start the car). DOes your voltage stay low until it the starter stops hanging? One day i started my car and my starter kept going for about 2 or 3 mins after i turned the car off. It set on fire and started smoking. Luckily i was able to quickly disconnect the battery shortly after. My starter still worked after that, but it turned over very slowly. A reman. starter cost me 160sih dollars plus install time (20 mins).

BTW if you have the intake manifold leak and the starter just keeps going you may run into the problem i had, a small fire! It didnt damage anything really, but made me fix the IM leak pretty quick after that
