SStrokerAce, update on LT1 intake?
Well, I am waiting results now and know projects like this take time. I am looking to get more out of my mild 355 H/C car and this is looking better and better...plop it on and tune it with some bigger injectors and TB. Can't wait to see a pic.
Good Lucks with the numbers...should be very good.

Interestingly (at least to me) Bret asked Paul Van Valkenburg, one of my favorite auto writers, for a book suggestion for me. "GEB" was it. I'm still trying to get thru it. I recommend it to you, Mindgame. The tagline on the cover is :"A metaphorical fugue on minds and machines in the spirit of Lewis Caroll"
I talked to Bret and he's working on some minor finishing touches. From the pic I have seen its well worth the wait. Since this is a one off design, and the first intake little things are bound to come up.

Yes, I was referring to Douglas' law in relation to programming... from "GEB". Great book... I've read it a few times and I've been known to kick Hofstadter's books at a lot of young (and even old) programmers. Hof lends an interesting perspective to subjects that are hard to put into words... well, at least where people may understand them..... recursion etc.. Important concepts, especially for programmers.
It might be a tough read but I consider that one "required reading". The Mind's I is a great Hofstadter book as well. Check it out when you finish GEB.
