I just got in my fiberglass fabricators inc. SS hood for my 96 Z. Besides having some problems tryign to make it fit right im really happy about it...but looking from the bottom side of the hood where the air will go into the intake, when i buy that part, it only has about a 1cm gap between the 2 layers of the hood where the air will come down. Is this normal? it looks like it would be very restrictive, but i'm not sure.

Yea i noticed that about my hood too. If i drill the hole in it to make it functional I'm not sure it will be of any gain.
