Speedo question

I have a problem. I bought a 97 Z28, and when I did the dealership had to replace the rear end. They replaced it with an entire axle. Well when they did they put in 3:23 gears where the car came with 2:73 gears. Well as most of you will guess the speedo is off. Well I went to a chevy dealer today, and they told me that they no longer can get the computer codes to reset the speedo. So now does anyone have any idea how I can get the computer flashed to recognize the new ratio?

Re: Speedo question

If you want to do it the absolute cheapest way, you could have them program your PCM with a VIN off a 97 A4 3.23 car. (for example - 2G1FP22P3V2116920)
Otherwise, custom programming is another way to do it, and you can get a few other things done while you're at it.
