Spec Stage II + N2O + ET Streets - will it hold?
I talked with the tech guys at SPEC and they said the stage 2 is very strong, and should hold up with bolt-ons and 100 shot, you'll be close depending on how much NA horsepower your pushing. They told me this clutch is rated at 470 fwhp. Now the stage 3 that thing he said they can't seem to break it just hold whatever power you give it. IF I had the extra money I would probably get it, unfortunetly for me I can't afford another 75 or so bucks. You will take chances with that rear just as everyone said, having a linelock is supossed to help since it preloads the drivetrain and your not just smashing into it. I wouldn't worry about the tranny until it goes.
D James,
I appreciate your input, thanks! 470rwhp sounds good, I'm really faaar from that.
Until I get a 12bolt, I think a Stage II will be fine.
God, how on earth will I be able to get the 12bolt shipped to Hungary....
OK, enough moanin', let's get back to work.

no reread his post, he said 470FWHP (flywheel) which is probably 420-430 at the rear. A typical bolt on LT1 can put 320 or so to the rear, slap on a 100 shot (if its NX I believe its 100RWHP) which will put you pretty close tot he limit of that clutch.
Dayum, you're right. It doesn't matter anyway, I just ordered the Stage III Carbon from Thunderracing!
I hope I can get my car together for the last drag event here held at the end of august.
Thanks for the input, guys!!
