A weekend sounds right depending on the conditions you are working in and if you don't have make numerous trips to the parts store for the stuff you lost or forget you need. Sound familiar?

Hah yea tell me about it. When I did the long tubes, I totally forgot about needing a fitting from the AIR to headers, and the X-Brace on the convertibles, totally slipped my mind. So I was rushing like an idiot trying to build shims to hold the brace down so the Y would clear it. Made about 4 trips to Advance ...

This time, I really do think I have/will have everything I need though lol.

Even at BDC, the piston is not down far enough to allow a stock valve (with stock heads) to fall into the cylinder. Just FYI.

Dont have to pull the heads to do a cam swap, how'd we side track into pulling heads?

Because of this statement.

I know I'd rather do a cam swap than pull the heads any day of the week.

I think they both suck, but at least on a cam swap you dont have to pull the headers/exhaust and 17 head bolts per side (and put them back on). +1 cam swap

Once the exhaust has been done a couple times its not that hard- the only thing I don't like about cam swap is dealing with the timing cover. For some reason me and the oil pan/gasket don't get along to well...

Honestly I think its a toss-up. If everything is stock, cam for sure. But if you have headers doing a head swap isn't quite as difficult.
