Most likely the 306, possibly something a little smaller such as the 227/233, but I would like to try the 306.

I also have the CC306, and I couldn't imagine having to do a smog test!!! That thing is wild, and has no manners, but I love it!

I guess I am lucky in VA, we don't have emissions testing-yet.

I have been thinking of going with something like the 306 for a while for my new engine.
I spoke with Ed wright and PCM for less, both told me that they doubt they can get it to pass. I know a guy here in phoenix who did get it to pass with tuning but that was with the stock cat.

I still thing the dual cat idea this other guy used is a good idea.

2 cats along with a good emissions tune and maybe some alcohol.
I want my new engine to be able to pass emissions in AZ so that I can get it licensed.

How soon are you looking to do this Brandon and who is intalling it for you?

Im doing it this winter break, Dec 20th im pulling the heads and intake and sending them to get ported, then I'm re-assembling it and installing the cam around Jan 9th. I spoke with PCM4less as well, and he told me he thinks he can get it to pass with a stock like cat. I can rig up something with the cats, I have a stock like cat sitting on my floor for when emissions comes. I will be doing the install, and aaron will probably help here and there.

I passed with flying colors in St. Louis, and we've got new Cali-esk **** emissions tests.

I just had a custom y-pipe made up with a stock 95 converter after each collector, drove around for 30 minutes and I went through fine. I've also got PCMforLess tuning.

This is why I have like 2 set of cats sittng around, my big Y pipe plan. I find it funny because my 93 passed better on rollers. Once I go cam I'm not worried about the sticker. They cant scan my vin and they dont scan the computers on a OBD I car. My vin in my 306 camd 93 and Jons stock 94 Z28 and like 100 buck is all I need.

Brandon,

How long did he say it would take, where is he located and what kind of flow #'s/ stage are you going to get?
Just curious because I just had my LT4's flowed by a local shop
and I think I want a second opinion.
Could you send me his phone number and address?
