My buddy XxsaintXx (marcin) has TOTL..I have hooker...we both have the SAME mods but when I dynoed uncaped the cutout I got no power increase. Everyone says they sound similar but the hooker is a little bit louder. TOTL has almost a hollow sound at WOT. while my hooker screams at WOT...Like I said both very close and very nice depends on what you want to pay for it...I paid 80$ for the muffler from summit at 10$ to get it installed.

My vote goes to the 2OTL, although ive never heard the hooker.

When I was looking at my car to buy it.... I did not like the look of the exhaust at all, but when the previous owner started it up... the sound put the biggest grin on my face.
Something like this --->

IMO, the sound of the 2OTL makes up for the looks

To Cmr0z28,
First off the new magnaflow is a 3in mandrel bent also plus its stainless (just like the stocker) 2nd the hooker is a crossflow muffler. If you look at the new magnaflow its straight through. Its like the two on the left slp system w/ the one pipe going around the muffler to make it a spit exit. When you look at the hooker you see straight through it because you are looking from one exit pipe to the other, if you look in the inlet you can not see through it( hence crossflow)

But its a big empty chamber, so theres no restriction at all. There is just some honeycomb lining the outside, but the exhaust gasses don't flow through it. I don't see how it can get any more free flowing than that...

My friend has the TOTL and it sounds pretty good with his off road pipe. I think if it had a cat on it though it would be too quiet for me. The only thing i don't like about it is the gay tips on both sides. I wonder if you could have an exhaust shop cut one of the tips off and put in an extra pipe that bends over then weld the tip back on so you could have one tip on each side.

I have the hooker and heard both.... the hooker is deeper at idle up to around 3000 or so then the hooker gives more of a big block roar. After putting the MACs on my car it got REAL DEEP. The TOTL does sound good though. Seems like it sounds about the same from idle to redline while the hooker has a split personality.

LT1s just sound good in general

is that on stock pipes, b/c im runnin just the aerochamber muffler too, and i was wondering if i was robbin myself of any power not going to 3'' pipes, but if you dyno the same hp with the cutout open/closed then ill just keep my stock stainless pipes too...also that would have to mean that the hooker muffler outflows the whole 2OTL catback b/c your buddy xxsaint69x picked up 3hp with the cutout open and he has the 2OTL right! horray im sooo happy i have the best catback around and i only paid $80 bucks for it, woohoo!
